Amazing Grace
Last night I went to the movies with some friends to see "Amazing Grace".
I thought it was a great film. Not only a good 'bonnet', but very inspiring as well. For those of you who do not know what it is about - "The idealist William Wilberforce maneuvers his way through Parliament in 19th century England, endeavoring to end the British transatlantic slave trade. " (IMDb)
There were a lot of actors I recognised, but was not quite sure where I had seen them before.

Romola Garai, who played Wilburforce's wife, had been Mary Bryant in the mini-series of the same name; and was in 'Daniel Deronda', 'Vanity Fair', and is in the upcoming 'Atonement'.

Benedict Cumberbatch, who played William Pitt, had been in the series 'Heartbeat', and an episode of 'Spooks' and 'Silent Witness'. He is also in "Atonement".

Rufus Sewell, who played Thomas Clarkson, has been in so many productions I have seen it would be hard to list... "The Holiday", "Tristan and Isolde", "the Illusionist", etc.

And of course, Ioan Gruffudd who played William Wilberforce!!
