I was just reading Laurie Anne's blog about washing, and remember why I was at the computer again - I am avoiding the plie of clean clothes that need folding! I just commented on her blog that the folding and ironing of clothes is one of the daily tasks I dislike the most (hence the pile that has not been touched for days).

You are too funny :0)
I think laundry is so challenging is because it is never done!!
I can have the most successful wash day, but at the end of the day, I have a basket of clothes again. Ugh!!!
A couple of years ago on our public tv channel, there was a program called "Frontier House".
They took some modern families and had them "homestead" in the Montana wilderness. One of the more interesting interviews was with one of the husbands. He shared how much he loved life out here and what a sense of accomplihment he felt as looked around at all he had done (big wood pile, root cellar, ckicken coop, etc) He also had become to understand why his wife seemed to be having the exact opposite experience. It seems "woman's work" is never done, duh. He felt bad that at the end of the day he accomplished something and his poor wife was trapped in a never ending cycle of cooking, cleaning and washing.
I shudder to think that if today's laundry is hard, could be worse, I could be beating clothes on a rock on the river. Yikes, we would never have clean clothes :0)

I like laundry! That's really the only housework I do like haha... so I'll do your laundry --- if you'll get all this dog hair from ALL over my house ---- it is a never ending battle and I'm ALWAYS losing :(
