John John with Jessica at their birthday lunch in 2007

My father-in-law passed away tonight.
Andrew and I, along other family members, have just been to the hospital to kiss him and bring Sylvia home. We all gathered at Sylvia and John's house for supper, and talk about plans for this week.
John was a great dad, grandfather and father-in-law. We loved him, and he will be greatly missed.

Dear Jenny and Andrew and family,

I've been a little out of it this weekend. So have not checked the Blog. My mum emailed to let me know the news.

Laurel and I send our love to you and to Andrew. We are praying for Sylvia.

John was an important person for me growing up -- at St Phils. Right down to the simple things: I watched him walked past my parent's home in Denistone. He walked past at the same time each afternoon, like clockwork!

God be near you all!

Justin and Laurel.

Oh Jenny, I am so sorry. I know it sounds like you were expecting it, but it doesn't make the actual passing any easier. You and your family will be in my prayers tonight. Peace to you all.
