New Baby...
We are waiting... there is a new member of the family arriving tomorrow!!

Cooking With Victor
Victor is an excellent cook.
While I was in Melbourne he made a delicious pumpkin curry.

He browned some lamb.

Added some red curry paste.

And then some coconut cream.

Next was the pumpkin, which was allowed to simmer.

And lastly kaffir lime leaves.

While I was in Melbourne I watched the inauguration of Obama (actually, I was glancing up, as I was almost finished a novel at the time which was very enticing!!) , along with Victor (below), and the rest of the Jones household.
And I have discovered a site where you can get in on the action.
I chose a photo of myself that was fairly expressive (read startled), as 'normal' photos were not as impressive in their outcome.

I have just been to Melbourne to meet David.

And of course to spend time with his family.

Are you a sci-fi fan?
The final 'act' of BSG has begun.
I was SO excited.
We found out the identity of the one - or did we?
Now I have to wait a whole week til the next episode.

Yesterday we went to the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney to see the Star Wars exhibition.
There were the actual models and costumes used in the films.

Andrew does a really good (uncannily so) impersonation of Chewbacca.

There were some of the characters dressed up and wandering around the exhibiton. They gave us a bit of a shock at times - especially the kids.

There were also a lot of activities to do, based on the science in Star Wars - robotics, hovercrafts etc.

Il y a longtemps que je t'aime
Or, "You have beautiful eyes."
Two names I could give today's post.
The first refers to the movie I saw on Wednesday night.
You can read a review about it here.
Full of angst.
Great acting.
The second refers to the conversation I had with our waiter, who asked for my phone number, and offered me a trip to Europe with him. Mmmmm... tempting, but I don't think the kids or the husband would be pleased.
Thanks to Vanessa and Amanda, who pretended to be deep in conversation while this was going on.

Here is an apt photo of Vanessa and I, our halos slipping.
